M106 is a beautiful galaxy in the constellation of Canes Venatici. The image contains a few other galaxies too, such as NGC 4248 and NGC 4217.

The total exposure time is 3 hours and 40 minutes with Astrodon LRGB filters, TS Boren-Simon 8" Powernewt and Atik 460EX CCD.
